Our story
Our story has a very humble beginning. It begins in 1987, when our founder (Shams Pirbhai) began supplying basmati rice & spices to ethnic restaurants and grocery stores. From there the demand for desi & other ethnic groceries kept increasing as more immigrants moved into the greater Seattle area. In 2000 we transitioned from being wholesalers into becoming retailers and have been committed to serving the community since.
